Our Recycling Ideology
We take any leftover metals straight to the scrapyard and ensure that any mess that is left on-site is recycled properly.
Reusing
A major part of our work is in heritage restoration, for this, we invariably require old wrought Iron sections.
We also try to re-use any cardboard boxes and packaging that gets delivered to us.
Reducing
Due to our work, we travel nationwide which is why we have the most fuel-efficient company vehicles.
We are also in the process of fitting our forges with electronic, controlled fans that reduce the amount of carbon dioxide created.
Health and Safety for clients, staff and the public is taken very seriously.
Our health & Saftey policies help us ensure the safety of everyone on site.
We employ the services of external health and safety, What No Safety. Who offers a comprehensive range of Health and Safety services that help Newton Forge comply with the law, and support the business by showing us how to implement best practice to improve performance whilst ensuring business operation is not compromised.
We are members of the Constructionline and have been accredited by Acclaim for safety management. We visit new sites and carry out Risk and Method Statements for all stages of our work, working closely with all the other attending trades to ensure a safe working environment.
All our site operatives are:
- CSCS cardholders
- Fully trained and competent in all aspects of their work.
- Equipped with the appropriate PPE Equipment at all times.
- All our site plant equipment is PAT tested.
