Established in 1980, our forge is highly knowledgeable in traditional bespoke architectural metalwork.
Established in 1980 by Ian and Karen Ring, Newton Forge began on Ian’s Uncle’s Farm where he perfected his trade.
Ian is a Master Blacksmith and has spent many years at the anvil producing a range of items for homes both inside and out. From 2005 onwards Ian’s knowledge and expertise meant the business began to receive more inquiries for ironwork restoration and bigger architectural metalwork commissions.
Growth & recognition
In 2008, the business launched its Head Office in Manston, near Sturminster Newton.
Since then the business has opened depots around the country taking on additional staff to drive the commercial side of the business; creating a sizeable team at the workshop, on sites, and in the offices.
