Subcontracted by Bouygues UK, we designed, manufactured and installed various items for Lady Margaret Hall College in Oxford. The boundary railings and gates were of interest due to the complexity of the design.
These were made from wrought iron and mild steel, with cast-iron finials. As you can see from the photos, they demonstrate our ability to create intricate, bespoke ironwork products to a high standard. We also worked with a third party to make sure the gates were fully automated.
The handrails we produced were very complicated. They were designed to go around very tight corners along the corridors, so we had to ensure that the size remained the same when they were created. Our team really enjoy using their traditional ironwork skills to create beautiful handrails for any staircase.
