We were instructed to make a new fanlight that was to match an existing one on a neighboring property. We visited the site, took templates for the fanlight and detailed images of the existing fanlight.

In our workshop, we created a mould for the different lead patterns and cast the lead strips. The central sunflower motif we carved a wooden maquette and then used the repoussé technique to form the motif from copper. The fanlight was assembled and lead welded together.
